Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is a 2011 large vision directed by Painter Yates and the product of two films based on the novel Harry Artisan and the Mortal Hallows by J. K. Rowling. It is the eighth and closing text in the Ruin Tinker enter series, scripted by Steve Kloves and produced by Painter Heyman, Painter Barron, and Rowling. The tale continues to analyse Ruin Journeyman's bark to acquire and undo Noble Voldemort's Horcruxes. The film stars Judge Radcliffe as Ruin Work, alongside Prince Grint and Emma Engineer as Harry's unsurpassable friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Head picturing began on 19 February 2009, and was complete on 12 June 2010, with the examination day of reshoots taking area on 21 December 2010, scoring the broadcast Destroy Ceramicist enter to be released all in 3D.

The roles of several minor characters were recast or replaced for this film. Ciarán Hinds assumes the role of Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus Dumbledore's brother and bartender of the Hog's Head inn. Hinds replaced Jim McManus, who portrayed the character in a brief cameo in the fifth film. Furthermore, Joshua Herdman announced on 9 August 2009 that Jamie Waylett would not be reprising his role as Vincent Crabbe. Waylett's character would instead be written out and his role in the plot taken over by Herdman's character, Gregory Goyle. Waylett's absence also led to the appearance of Slytherin student Blaise Zabini, portrayed by Louis Cordice, in the Room of Requirement scene instead.
In the book, a significant number of characters who have not appeared since some of the earlier novels, reappear to fight to defend Hogwarts in the large, final battle. Some of these characters are Professor Pomona Sprout, played by actress Miriam Margolyes, Professor Horace Slughorn played by Jim Broadbent, Poppy Pomfrey played by Gemma Jones, Professor Sybill Trelawney played by Emma Thompson, Percy Weasley played by Chris Rankin and Oliver Wood played by Sean Biggerstaff. Director David Yates said, "I want to get them all back", referring to his desire to bring back as many actors who have appeared in the franchise as possible for the climactic battle sequence in the film.
